SEALE, Robert William It is with broken hearts we announce the death of Robert. He passed away on February 4, 2018 in Battleford, SK at the age of 67. He was the oldest of 5 children. He had to contend with 4 younger sisters which he did with just the right amount of teasing, humor and love. He attended Queen Mary school and Prince Albert Technical High in Prince Albert before moving to Regina to get on with his life. He changed career paths throughout his life from Halliburton, Loomis Courier and SGI first as a parts person and then transferring to Battleford as a general insurance adjuster before retiring due to his health. Rob also drove semi into various parts of the U.S. for Foodland. He loved driving, road trips and had many stories to tell about his travels. Besides being interested in and hands on with vehicles and hobbies, he loved to tell stories about his life, where he had been and done and they were usually hilarious. His favorites were about passing nearby Mount St. Helens when it erupted in 1980. After retiring, Rob opened a small hobby store for a time just to keep busy and to continue with his favorite hobby, remote control vehicles. Rob was very independent and lived life doing the things he loved most. Rob lived in various cities in SK and AB throughout his life and always felt most at home at the family cabin. Holidays were spent back at mom’s or at the family cabin with family, playing board games, laughing and enjoying mom’s home cooked meals. He was also busy doing something whether it was working on a vehicle (his lifelong passion was auto mechanics) or one of his many hobbies. As a youth Bobby was a member of Royal Canadian Air Cadets and was excited to have attended Penhold Cadet Summer Training and traveled to Expo 67. Rob is survived by his sons whom he loved dearly: Leighton Rother-Seale, Robert Torrie and special friend Monica, Jay Martin and his 2 sons Alex and Victor. Also survived by Sisters: Gwen Leach (Lee Chamberlain) and their children: Adam Leach, Laura, Barbara, David Chamberlain; Bev Dickie and her children: Rachelle Long/Ryan Allan – Asher; Matthew Long; Brendan Malberg and her children: Barbara/Peter Gross, Justin/Kayla Meredith and their children Kingston, Kalloway and Kullyn; Karen/Quentin Silzer and daughter Brianna Kleckner.
