Douglas Horace McLeod was born on Sunday, May 29, 1949 in Stanley Mission, SK and passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Stanley Mission, SK at the age of 69 years. Horace is survived by his loving family: his brothers, Alpheus (Emily) McLeod, Oliver (Jean) McLeod, Wally (Theresa) McLeod and Eugene (Emily) McLeod; his sisters, Maggie Cook, Mary Jean (Norman) Charles, Grace (Daniel) Cook, Flora (Edward) Cook and Joyce (Gordon) Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews; his special nephews, Morgan McLeod and Mark McLeod; his special sister, Maggie Cook; and his friends, Norman McLeod, Raymond McLeod, Lionel McLeod, Antoine McLeod and Alfred McLeod. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman & Lizzie (nee Charles) McLeod; his grandparents, Philip & Mary Ann (nee Charles) McLeod and Horace & Mary (nee Cook) Charles; his brothers, Ronnie McLeod, Joseph McLeod and Malachi McLeod; and his brother-in-law, Fred Cook. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, SK. Horace’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating.
