Karen Lydia Betsy McKenzie was born on Monday, July 22, 1985 in La Ronge, SK, and passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 32 years. Karen is survived by her loving family: her mother, Naomi Annie McKenzie (Phillip Roberts); her loving fiancé, Tommy Charlie McKenzie; her children, Becky, Naomi, Warren, Noreen, Britian; her sisters, Lillian McLeod (Reese) and Genevieve (John) Charles; her brothers, John George Charles and Stanley McKenzie; her godson, Barry Charles; her grandfather, Murdock Charles; her mother-in-law, Patricia (George) McKenzie; her father-in-law, Tommy Bruce McKenzie; her sisters-in-law, Sarah (Walter) Ballantyne and Laura Charles; her brother-in-law, George W. (Helen) McKenzie; her best friends, Rachel McLeod, Nancy McKenzie and Amanda McLeod; her favorite auntie, Lillian Charles; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Malcolm McKenzie; her sister, Betsy Charles; her brother, Peter McKenzie; her niece, Salita McLeod; her grandmothers, Lydia McKenzie and Becky Charles; her grandfather, Napthalie McKenzie. The funeral service for Karen will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at the Stanley Mission Cemetery.
