With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Meryl Bahsler (nee McRann). Mom passed away on April 10, 2018 in the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 92 years. She was born in Prince Albert on July 30, 1925 and spent her whole life in the area. In 1956 she married Ivan Bahsler and together they raised three sons, Barry, Robert, and Kevan. In her younger years she loved the piano, playing regularly in church and for her own enjoyment. In later years she enjoyed feeding and watching “her” birds and grey squirrels. Most of her time was devoted to caring for her family, and she greatly enjoyed time spent with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sons: Barry (Bev), Robert, and Kevan; her 2 granddaughters: Rhonda (Ben) and Deanna (Scott); and her 4 great-grandchildren: Halle, Kelty, Ezra, and Roslyn. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years: Ivan; her parents: Gilbert and Susanna McRann (nee Byer); and her 7 older siblings. She will be greatly missed.
