Antoine “Tony” Zacheus Roberts was born on Friday, September 1, 1944 in Stanley Mission, SK, and passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in La Ronge, SK, at the age of 73 years. Tony is survived by, his children, Connie (Jason) Brooks, Wendell Roberts, Ryan (Paz Charles) Roberts; his grandchildren, Nikki McKenzie, Danielle Brooks, Dylan Brooks, Alex McKenzie-Roberts, J.J. Roberts, Elaina Roberts, Julian Roberts, Garnet McLeod; the mother of his children, Eva Roberts; his sisters, Alice Rediron, Mary Ann Halkett, Amelia (Mike) Roberts; his brothers, Jack Roberts, Hector (Bernice) Roberts, Tom (Terri) Roberts, Harry (Doris) Roberts, Richard Roberts; his special godson, Charlie Salisbury; his aunt, Margaret Carlson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by, his parents, Sampson and Susan (nee Hasting) Roberts; his stepbrother, Norman (Hastings) Roberts; his uncles, John Hastings, George Roberts, Charlie Roberts, John Roberts, Harry Roberts; his aunt, Delia Jacobson; his father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Isabel Ratt; his brothers-in-law, Marius Rediron and Glen Halkett. Tony’s funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Rev. Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
