Mabel Rita Ballantyne was born on Tuesday, June 7, 1960 in Flin Flon, MB and passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 in Deschambault Lake, SK at the age of 57 years. Mabel is survived by her loving family: her common-law, Stanley Ballantyne; her sons, Terrance, Sandy (Tammy Ratt), Warner (Flora) and Roland Jr. (Neanna); her daughter, Tammy Lillian Ballantyne; her grandchildren, Marlee, Kolby, Kyra, Hailey, Justine, Suzette, Harriet, Warner Jr., Shamira, Justin, Tristan, Tyler, Traven and Ed; her god-daughters, Anita A. Ballantyne and Nancy R. Custer; her brothers, Issac (Mary Ann), Leonard (Angelique), Garry J. (Darlene) and Roland (June); her sisters, Eliza Thomas and Annie (Melvin) Ratt; her uncle, Tommy Robillard; her best friend, Connie Custer; and her cousins, Isaac (Jeannie) Beatty, Walter (Florence), Peter A. (Beatrice) Beatty, Robert Beatty, David (Myrna) Beatty, Joyce (Bob) Boyer, Jean Sewap, Rhoda Beatty, Nancy Ballantyne, the Robillard family, the Custer family and the Ballantyne family. She was predeceased by her parents, John D. and Jean Marie Ballantyne; her sister, Angelique Ballantyne; her daughter, Tammy Rose Ballantyne; her brothers, Bruce Ballantyne, Oscar D. Ballantyne and William Ballantyne; her brother-in-law, Roderick Thomas; her aunties and uncles, Francis Charles, Alice Cook, Martha Beatty and William Ballantyne; her nieces and nephews, Wendy Ballantyne, Harriet McCallum, Hilda Eninew and Sampson Ballantyne; as well as her cousin, Philip Beatty.  A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at River Park Funeral Home. Mabel’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Deschambault Lake, SK, Reverend Rachel Custer and Reverend Elias Ballantyne officiating.
