RCMP requests public assistance after vehicles vandalized in Air Ronge
The La Ronge RCMP wish to remind the public to exercise extra security precautions amidst the warm weather.
According to a press release, on April 11 officers received at least four reports of vehicle vandalism in Air Ronge. The instances are believed to have happened between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., some personal items were stolen, and police have no persons of interest at this time.
RCMP would like to remind residents of the tri-communities to remove all valuables from their vehicles and to lock the vehicle doors. Parking vehicles in well-lit areas or installing motion-sensor lighting is also recommended to deter criminal activity. RCMP also ask residents of Air Ronge with security cameras to review their footage.
