La Ronge Avenue stabbing sends victim to hospital

La Ronge RCMP are investigating a stabbing which occurred downtown on Friday night.

That’s according to an RCMP news release, which states officers responded to a complaint at approximately 11 p.m. of a large fight outside of a business on the 700 Block of La Ronge Avenue. Police determined an adult male suffered injuries consistent with a stab wound.

RCMP noted the male was transported to hospital in La Ronge and treated for his injuries. The victim has since been released from hospital.

larongeNOW reached out to the victim, but he declined to be interviewed. La Ronge RCMP continue to investigate the matter.
