Brendyn and Shirley, two of our MSJ residents, helped us to understand why it is time to upgrade our tubs and how important our Tub-a-thon really is; “these new tubs will be better for us to get in and out of, making it easier on the staff and us” Brendyn told us. “yeah, and they won’t hurt our backs” Shirley echoes.

The sentiment goes along way to show the compassion that our residents have for our staff and the bond that develops between them. But staff can only do so much to ensure our resident’s have a comfortable and enjoyable experience when the equipment they are using is antiquated and past it’s prime.

These new tubs are an opportunity for a new experience for our residents and will allow them to fully enjoy their bath time, just like the rest of us do, while providing the best possible infection control and hygiene possible.

So, as Brendyn says “thank you for your donations towards our tub-a-thon” he is truly thanking you for helping to make his Home more comfortable, safe and secure.
