JRMCC preparing for lifting of all public health measures next month
Staff at Jonas Roberts Memorial Community Centre (JRMCC) are preparing for July 11, when all public health orders in Saskatchewan are scheduled to be lifted.
As of June 20, youth and indoor sports measures were lifted and the number of people permitted at private indoor gatherings increased to 15. There are no longer any capacity thresholds on retail and no table capacity limits at restaurants, although physical distancing must be maintained.
On July 11, there will be no capacity limits on gathering sizes and the province-wide mask mandate will end.
“We’re pretty excited about it,” JRMCC Director of Sports and Recreation Kevin Roberts said. “It’s been a long time coming for us to be able to hold our usual events that we do host over the course of the regular year.”
