“We do not want to see continued violence and we do not want anyone hurt, or worse.”

Those are the words of Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations vice-chief Dutch Lerat, who in a joint media release called for those wanted in regards to a public emergency in La Ronge over the weekend to turn themselves in.

“We urge these young men to turn themselves in peacefully and seek our spirituality for traditional healing; your Family loves you and your Federation will be there for you”, he added.

As a result of a continued investigation by RCMP into the dangerous person with firearm incident in La Ronge, Celine Charles, 22, of La Ronge is charged with one count of obstruction. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

The release states an investigation has determined Charles is the third, unaccounted for female after the incident occurred in La Ronge on June 19. She stands 5’4” tall, weighs 112 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She has a rose tattoo on her left hand, a heart and flame tattoo on her left arm and “Charles” tattooed on her chest.

Terrance Daigneault (also goes by Terrance Kenny), 29, of La Ronge is wanted in relation to multiple charges including two counts of attempted murder with a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous person.

Allan Sanderson, 36, of La Ronge is wanted for obstruction and unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Both men have not been found and police are actively looking for them.

If you see Charles, Daigneault or Sanderson, do not approach them and contact police immediately by calling 911 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.

Saskatchewan RCMP North District Commander Supt. Ted Munro said community members shouldn’t have to be fearful of the thoughtless actions of those who choose to participate in criminal activity.

He noted this past weekend, people’s lives were put on hold by an emergency alert, which is reserved for the most serious of incidents.

“Community events were cancelled, businesses closed and residents sheltered in the safety of their homes. The threat was real: there’s evidence multiple bullets struck a responding RCMP vehicle and charges of attempted murder were laid,” Munro said. “The Saskatchewan RCMP is working tirelessly to locate and arrest those responsible. The community and leadership must work in partnership with us to discourage and prevent criminal activity on all levels – this includes providing tips and information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals. We urge you – Celine, Terrance and Allan – please safely turn yourselves in.”
