Roughriders seeking to end road woes in Ottawa
The Saskatchewan Roughriders will try to bring their road woes to an end in the nation’s capital.
Saskatchewan hasn’t won a road game since a 29-26 win over the Calgary Stampeders on June 24.
The next road test for the Riders comes Friday in Ottawa against the Redblacks. Kickoff for the game at TD Place is set for 5 p.m.; the Green Zone Game Day pre-game show is to start at 3 p.m.
“We just need a win,” Riders head coach Craig Dickenson said. “Regardless of home or away, we need to play well and get on a bit of a momentum swing here as we get closer to the playoffs.
