The first annual Saskatchewan Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) NoGi Open was held over the Thanksgiving long weekend in Moose Jaw and a number of Prince Albert athletes showed their appetite for winning.

Representing North Wake Martial Arts, Riley Mayer won a bronze in his adult white belt division as well as a silver in the Men’s White Belt Absolute.

Tymofiy Kvashulko won a silver for his division (juvenile boys, green belt), and Craig Wicks kept his win streak intact with a gold medal in his adult, brown belt division.

There were 167 total participants last weekend.
