Kippi Bird passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 in La Ronge, SK.

Left to cherish Kippi’s life are his life partner, Rachelle Lavallee; his children, Robyn Bird, Rory Lavallee, Kiana Bird, River Okemow, Winter Okemow, and his adopted son Levi Lavallee; his two grandchildren; his mother, Leona Bird and his stepfather, Henry Bird; his brothers Ryan Bird, Montreal Lake, SK and Kristopher Bird, Prince Albert, SK; his sisters Cheryl Bird, Montreal Lake, SK and Kayla Bird, Saskatoon, SK; his aunts Violet Okemow, Saskatoon, SK, Pauline Okemow, Saskatoon, SK, Janet Okemow, Saskatoon, SK, Joan Okemow, Saskatoon, SK, Monica Okemow, Prince Albert, SK, and Barbra Benson, Saskatoon, SK; his uncles Francis Bird, Montreal Lake, SK, and Jeffery Okemow, Montreal Lake, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Kippi is predeceased by his nephew Martell Bird; his sister Tamara Ross; his brother Melvin Bird; his grandparents Rosalie Okemow and Andrew Okemow; his aunt Marsha Okemow; his uncle Russel Okemow; his cousins Johnathan Okemow, Randall Okemow, Mavis Okemow, and Sage Okemow.

The Wake Service will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2024.   Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024.  Both services will be held at St. Joseph’s Anglican Church, Montreal Lake, SK.  Interment will follow in the Montreal Lake Cemetery.
