Plenty of summer programming available for tri-community youth
Children and teens in the tri-communities have a variety of options when it comes to summer programming.
The Village of Air Ronge is offering summer programs for those between the ages of five and 14 every weekday at the Elks Hall. Mornings from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. are for those five to eight and include games, snacks and activities focused on science, music, water, world, building, nature, a carnival, as well as Disney characters and themes.
In the afternoons for the nine to 14 age group, youth will have the chance to develop new interests and try new hobbies. Activities will be focused on cooking, painting, nature walks, baking, crafts, games, gardening are more.
La Ronge’s Alex Robertson Public Library is hosting its annual TD Summer Reading Club every Monday for those between Grades 1 to 6. That programming is separated with Grades 1 to 3 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Grades 4 to 6 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
