Lauther's late field goal lifts Riders to 30-29 road win over Argonauts

TORONTO — Brett Lauther bailed Zach Collaros out Saturday night.

Lauther's 56-yard field goal with 1:14 remaining earned the Saskatchewan Roughriders a wild 30-29 road win over Toronto. Lauther's boot came after Collaros was penalized for intentional grounding, moving the ball back 11 yards to the Argonauts' 48-yard line......

Crezdon Butler returns to line up against Argos

After starting for half the season then sitting for four, defensive back Crezdon Butler returns to the lineup on Saturday.

For the first time as a Rider, he’ll fill in at safety with Matt Elam out with an injured hamstring.

Butler doesn’t have a lot of experience in.....

After Saturday’s game, offensive lineman Thaddeus Coleman said he wanted to practice red zone offence nonstop until the team figured it out.

Quite simply, he was sick of not scoring touchdowns.

‘I’d have booed us too:’ Riders fall 30-25 to Redblacks

There was a mixture of disappointment, frustration and steely determination in the Roughriders locker room Saturday night.

After winning four straight the Roughriders stubbed their toe big time against the Ottawa Redblacks falling 30-25 – a score that was much too generous for the game that they played......
