Riders move on to eastern finals after 31-20 win in Ottawa

The Riders packed their bags for a long stay and now they’ll get at least another week in Ontario.

Saskatchewan defeated the Ottawa Redblacks in the eastern semi-final 31-20 and will move on to face Toronto next Sunday in the eastern final.

Sophomore Riders Rodgers, Mrabure amped for 1st playoff game

It’s been a quick turnaround for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The team doubled their wins from five last season to 10 this season and have made the playoffs.

They’ll square off in the Eastern Division semi-finals against the Redblacks on Sunday.

And sophomore defensive back Kacy Rodgers couldn’t.....

Riders ready for long road trip east

When the Riders leave for Ottawa on Friday they’re hoping they won’t return to Saskatchewan until they’ve won the Grey Cup.

After falling 28-13 to Edmonton on Saturday, the Riders’ playoff destiny has sent them through the eastern division, first to Ottawa for the semi-finals then to Toronto for.....

Riders are Ottawa bound after fizzling out versus Esks

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be packing their bags and heading to Ottawa after losing to the Edmonton Eskimos 28-13 Saturday night.

A win would have had the Riders stay west and play Winnipeg, but now the road to the Grey Cup goes through the east. No team in CFL.....

Riders’ LaFrance ready for another snowy game

That’s what Kienan LaFrance told reporters on Friday afternoon when asked if it’s cliché to say a Canadian running back would be good at playing in the snow.

And in LaFrance’s case, the facts are these: 157 yards rushing and one touchdown in the Ottawa.....
