Wall of Honour to be installed at CCHS
The names and photos of those who have demonstrated excellence at Churchill Community High School will soon be recognized on a Wall of Honour.
“I got inspiration by traveling to other schools over the years, and seeing how they celebrated their alumni,” project committee member Gabe Andrews said. “I figured we should do the same thing here.”
A public call for nominations is open until April 9, and can be completed online or by using a paper copy available at the school. For the first year, Andrews said a committee of four teachers will likely select 10 to 15 individuals who are either an alumni, a staff member who left or retired from the school, or another member of the public who left a special mark.
“We want to honour the people who have graduated here, but we’ll open the door to other special circumstances as well,” he said.
