New Sask. Hospital receives $100K donation
A provincial charity group has donated $100,000 to the New Saskatchewan Hospital’s New Beginnings Campaign.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced the donation from the Anluan Foundation in a statement released Wednesday afternoon. The charity organization is run by the Hanlon family and is based in Southwest Saskatchewan. The Hanlon Conference Centre, named as part of the donation, will increase the hospital’s capacity to hold large meetings and presentations with state-of-the-art technology.
Ted Hanlon said he was glad his family’s foundation could be included in the new hospital.
“We are so pleased to be a part of this project,” Hanlon said in a statement. “Giving back to our communities is very important to our family and the new hospital will help so many people from all across our province. We feel it is critical to support mental health in Saskatchewan and knew we wanted to do it through a donation to the new hospital.”
