Olynyk, Powell among coaching staff for India Basketball Without Borders camp
NEW YORK — Canadians Kelly Olynyk and Dwight Powell highlight the coaching staff for the NBA’s second Basketball Without Borders camp in India.
Olynyk, a centre for the Miami Heat, and Powell, of the Dallas Mavericks, will guide 66 boys and girls from 16 countries in the four-day camp, May 30-June 2 at the NBA Academy India in New Delhi.
Corey Brewer of Oklahoma City, Brooklyn’s Caris LeVert, two-time WNBA champion Ruth Riley and former WNBA player Ebony Hoffman round out the coaching staff.
Current NBA assistant coaches Bret Brielmaier (Nets), Darvin Ham (Atlanta), Ryan Saunders (Minnesota) and Mike Wells (Utah) will also serve as coaches.
