Prairie Women on Snowmobiles begins in Meadow Lake, ends in P.A.

The snowmobiling squad which raises funds for breast cancer research and promotes safe snowmobiling have mapped their route for their latest ride across Saskatchewan.

Prairie Women Snowmobiles will begin its six-day-long, 1,400 to 1,600km journey in Meadow Lake on Feb. 3 with the grand finale set on Feb. 8.....

Location set for Broncos bus crash truck driver’s sentencing

Jaskirat Sidhu, the semi-truck driver in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash in April, will have his sentencing take place outside of the Melfort Provincial Courtroom.

Truck driver in Humboldt Broncos bus crash pleads guilty

Nearly six months after being released on bail, and multiple adjournments in between, Jaskirat Sidhu pleaded guilty to all 29 counts related to the Humboldt Broncos bus crash in April 2018.

Sidhu, the semi-truck driver involved with the Broncos crash, appeared in Melfort Provincial Court on Jan. 8, 2019.....

The case involving Jaskirat Sidhu, the semi truck driver in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash back in April 2018, has once again been adjourned.

Satnam Aujla, Sidhu’s lawyer, appeared on his client’s behalf over the phone in Calgary, where he told Judge Inez Cardinal that he and Crown prosecutor.....
