47 men arrested in police sting of those looking for sex with teenage girls

Vancouver police say they've arrested 47 men who were willing to pay for sexual services from teenage girls.

Seven of those people have now been charged and police say they include a school teacher and a firefighter among others.

Deputy Chief Const. Laurence Rankin said they were arrested.....

Quebec government to maintain gun registry deadline, will ease some criteria

Quebec's long gun registry will come into force as scheduled next week, but the public security minister offered concessions Wednesday to gun owners who have been slow to sign up.

Coaldale man fined $20,000 for importing wildlife and possessing bear hide

COALDALE, Alta. — An Alberta man has been fined $20,000 after he was convicted of illegally importing wildlife into Canada and possessing a black bear hide from Alaska.
