Austin John McLeod was born on Thursday, June 5, 1997, in La Ronge, SK, and passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019, in Edmonton, AB, at the age of 22 years. Austin is survived by his loving family, his parents, Melinda and Irvine McLeod; his sisters, Sheila (Lester) Cook and Leona McLeod; his brothers, Stanley McLeod and Allan McLeod; his special niece/best friend, Michaela Cook; his nieces, Luwanda McLeod, Amber Cook, Brittany McLeod; his nephews, Lucas Cook and Brett McLeod; his grandparents, Nora Charles, Stanley McKenzie; his aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Roberts, Kathy McKenzie, Mary (Joe) Roberts, Marlene McLeod, Raymond (Inez) McLeod, William (Lillian) Charles, Harvey Charles, Jane Ratt, Charlie Charles, Victor Charles; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Amelia and James McLeod, Bella and John Charles; his aunts, Alora McLeod, Mabel McKenzie, Betsy McKenzie, Maggie McLeod; his uncles, Steward McLeod, Ernest McLeod, Stanley Charles, Cornelius Charles; his godfather, Jude Ratt Sr. The Funeral Service for Austin will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in Stanley Mission, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating.
