Beatrice LeCorre

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beatrice Lena LeCorre late of Prince Albert, SK. Beatrice passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on January 7, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Beatrice was born on August 17, 1937 to parents George and Margaret Naytowhow in Sturgeon Lake, SK. She is survived by her children: Joey LeCorre, Karen (Darren) Timmerman and Paul LeCorre; her grandchildren: Edmond, Tristen, Amber, Joshua (Mykelti) and Katelyn; her sisters: Linda Naytowhow, Lorna (Vern) Keller, Debbie (Dale) Moosehunter and Mary Rose (Ovide) Naytowhow; her brothers: Pete and Joe Naytowhow; her in-laws: Dennis (Stella) LeCorre, George (Donna) LeCorre, Marcel (Florence) LeCorre and Marie (Brian) Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband: Raymond LeCorre; her daughter: Catherine LeCorre; her parents: George and Margaret Naytowhow; her sisters: Sandra Naytowhow, Stella Peekeekoot, Gertrude Naytowhow; her brother: Robert Naytowhow; and her in-laws: Joseph and Catherine LeCorre.
Beatrice and her husband Raymond LeCorre were married on December 30, 1966. After retirement, Raymond and Beatrice spent their time travelling and enjoying life. After dad’s death in 2012, Beatrice moved to Carment Court. There she met so many wonderful friends there. She enjoyed spending time playing cards and shuffle board and visiting. She also enjoyed her regular Tuesday trip to Paddockwood where she played cards with her many friends at the Paddockwood senior’s group.
A Wake Service will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday January 8-9, 2019 at 5:00PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday January 10, 2019 at 11:00AM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. Interment will be held in the spring of 2019 at the White Star Cemetery. Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium.
