Ben was born on June 10, 1938 in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan. At the age of 20 he joined the Prince Albert Fire Department where he was employed for 35 years, the last several years as Captain. Ben was very proud to be a fireman. In addition he took on a side job of roofing, which gave him the opportunity to provide a wonderful life for his family.
Ben was very much a people person, loved getting together with family, friends and his coffee buddies. He always made time to stop and chat, no matter where he was. Ben enjoyed music, travelling, all sports and playing a fierce game of Kaiser.
We are all so thankful for the beautiful life he provided for us as a family. We will always love him and miss him very much. Until we meet again..
