Constant Lionel Brûlé
September 27, 1924 – December 17, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Constant Lionel Brûlé on December 17, 2017. Constant was born in Prud’homme, SK on September 27, 1924. He married the love of his life, Annette Pelletier, on January 20, 1953 and lived on the farm near Clouston, SK until 1996, when they moved to Prince Albert, SK. Constant was predeceased by his wife Annette of 63 years; his parents Norbert and Eleodia (Marcotte) Brûlé; parents-in-law Silas and Loretta (Coulombe) Pelletier; infant daughters Vivian and Lillian; brothers Jerry, Elzear and Roger; sisters Mercedes (Barden) and Leona (McLachlan); brothers-in-law Ernest, Felix, and Paul, and sister-in-law Alma. He leaves to mourn his children Paul (Karen), Alan (Donna), Roseline (Curtis Golding), Anita (Ken Babel), Linda (Rob Graf), Robert (Sherri) and Lori (Allyn Stephens); sister Odile (Lawrence Clark); brother Archie (Sally); sister-in-law Lorraine Unger; brother-in-law Ben Pelletier (Jean); 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Constant served his community as Councillor for the Rural Municipality of Prince Albert, and as an active member on a variety of local boards and committees. He loved farming and continued to take an interest in farming long after he moved to the city. In his later years, he enjoyed playing cards and socializing with family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Good Shepherd Villas for their excellent care, especially in his final days. In lieu of other tributes, a donation can be made in Constant’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. Funeral Mass and Celebration of Constant’s life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the Funeral Mass. After the funeral mass, guests are invited to join the family for the interment at South Hill Cemetery, followed by lunch and fellowship in the parish hall..
