Edwin Wolff

Edwin Harold Wolff, born November 1940, died March 27, 2018. Edwin grew up and went to school in the Wooler district. After high school he worked in the retail industry. In 1965 he married Zelma McElroy of Heward. They moved to Prince George in 1971 where he worked in the retail industry. In 1974 they came back to Quill Lake to farm. In 1982 the family moved to Smeaton where he farmed for the next 30 plus years. In 2013 they sold the farm and moved to Leask.
Edwin was a loving father and husband, who enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was an excellent handyman who could fix almost anything and was always willing to give a helping hand. He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
Edwin was predeceased by his father Hermann Wolff, his mother Florence Wolff (Richards), and his brother Richard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Zelma (McElroy), sons Neil (Lorette), Dana (Gwen), and various nieces and nephews.
As per Edwin’s wishes, there will be no funeral. A private scattering of the ashes will take place in the summer.
He was loved.
