They lived in numerous communities including McTaggart and Weyburn, SK then moving to Surrey, Delta, and Port Alberni BC, then back east a bit to Calgary, AB, to McTaggart, and then Weyburn and Prince Albert, SK, finally landed in the close knit community of Hazlet. Many friends were made at every stop along the way. Eileen enjoyed many things in life including camping, fishing, playing cards, cruising, spoiling the dogs, crocheting, sitting on the deck with Steve, winning at bingo, playing machines at the casino, gardening and canning, and having visits on the phone with her friends and family. Eileen enjoyed being a part of the Hazlet quilting club and in the last decade she made many quilts that are now family treasures. In lieu of flowers, at the family’s request, donations can be made to the Clover House in Swift Current, part of the Meadows, which is where Eileen spent her last 12 days. The family would like to thank the amazing staff, including nurses, care aids and doctors at the Clover House. This journey would have been so much more difficult without them.
