He was predeceased by his dad, Michael Peter Ballantyne; Two babies; his grandparents, Naomi & Peter C. Ballantyne, Alice & Arthur Ballantyne; his great-grandparents, William & Annie Ballantyne, Fredrick & Mary Ballantyne; his great-great-grandparents, Phillip & Laura Sewap; his uncles, Steven Ballantyne, Moses Ballantyne; his aunties, Pamela Ballantyne, Shirley (Chop Chop) Ballantyne, Darlene Ballantyne, Delores Minnie Ballantyne; his cousins, Merle Ballantyne, Anita Beatty, Kevin Ballantyne, Janine Ballantyne.

The Prayer Service for Erik will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Father DJ Vu officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the residence of Margaret Ballantyne, in Deschambault Lake, SK; continued Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the St. Peter Anglican Church, in Deschambault Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 11, 2023, at the St. Peter Anglican Church, in Deschambault Lake, SK, with Rev. Eileen Bear officiating.
