It is with great sadness the family informs of Herb’s passing on February 14, 2018 in Mission, BC. Herb was born in Prince Albert on November 20, 1947 to Doreen and John Brown. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 48 1/2 years, Lana (Langford); his son Byron (Zoe) and grandsons Tyler, Sheldon and Mason; his son Trevor (Tanya) and granddaughters Keyara and Kylee and grandson Keenan, all of Mission, BC; his mother Doreen Brown and Aunt Mildred Moore of Prince Albert, SK, six sister-in-laws, five brother-in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many cherished friends. He was predeceased by his father, John in 2000, his brothers Allen in 2017, Donald in 2018 and Arnold in 2016; his mother-in-law, Irene Langford in 1978, father-in-law, Charles Langford in 2001 and brother-in-law, Timothy Langford in 2005, as well as uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on August 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., where Herb will be laid to rest at the foot of his father’s grave, in the Garden of Christus at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, Prince Albert. A gathering will be held at the Legion, 133-8th St East, following the service.
