Inez Marlene Ahle (nee Schlichemeyer) was born on Monday, May 29, 1950 in Humboldt, SK, and passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 in Smeaton, SK, at the age of 67 years. Marlene was born to parents Rita (nee McNabb) and Alec Schlichemeyer. The family moved to Prince Albert shortly thereafter. In 1966, the family moved to La Ronge where they lived until Marlene met and eventually married her husband James Ahle in 1967. Marlene and Jim lived in the La Ronge area until 1973, when they moved to Smeaton where they resided for the next 45 years. Marlene is survived by, her loving husband, Jim; her daughters, Brenda (Tim), Laura, and Roberta (Johnny); her son, Tracy (Gabriela); her 3 grandchildren, Joshua, Dalton (Erika) and Nicole (Brendon); and her 3 great grandchildren, Keera, Zaden and Emilee; her siblings, Ken (Eva), Lorenda, Brenda (Wayne), Judy (Dave), Richard, Ronnie, Cindy (Shane) and Pam; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, an infant sister; by her brother, Brian in 1995; and her mother, Rita in 2000. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Snowden Hall in Snowden, SK. Interment to follow at a later date in La Ronge.
