Irene “Tinker” Mitchell, beloved mother, Nana and friend, passed away in the company of her family on Friday, October 26th, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill; father Sam and mother Mary; daughter LuAnn; siblings Clayton (Annie), Daisy (Ragnar), Louis, Arthur (Doreen), Dorothy (Les), Russell (Rose), Edward, Jean (Gordon), Jim (Jean), Ila and Betty. Tinker is survived by her children Jan, Shelley, Lori, Jackie and Kirk (Pam); grandchildren Stacey, Jade (Regan), Kristyn (Tell), Katelyn, Kenady, Cameron and Kaleigh; great-grandchildren Jayla and Leesy; sister-in-law Laura; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and the many friends she considered family. The family wish to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Victoria Union Hospital for the palliative care they provided. For his help at this difficult time, we also thank Brian Stobbs at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018, at 2:00pm at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel.
