James Edward Thompson was born on March 28, 1940 in Winnipeg, MB and passed away on February 26, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 77 years. He was raised in Flin Flon, MB before moving to BC, where he did various jobs until finally settling down in Prince Albert, SK. He began working at the Prince Albert Pulp and Paper Mill in 1968, where he remained until he retired. James is survived by his brothers, Bud Thompson and Ronnie Thompson; his sister, Joanne Norman; his former wife, Sheila Robillard; and his friend, Ken Prince. He was predeceased by his father, Clyde Thompson; his mother, Ivy Thompson; and his brother, Johnny Thompson. As per James’ wishes, no service will be held. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home, Carla Jesso, Funeral Director.
