Jean “John” Watrin was born on Thursday, June 10, 1943, in Canwood, SK, to Fernand and Irene Watrin. He lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, January 19, 2019, in Shellbrook, SK. John is survived by his daughter, Kristi-Ann (Doug) and their children, Kara and Curtis; his son, Sean (Wendy) and their children, Rowan and Katlyn; his siblings, Leon, Huguette, Marie, Beatrice (Don), Andre, Therese; his sister-in-law, Wendy; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and one aunt. He was predeceased by his parents, Fernand and Irene; his brother, Gerard (Jerry); his brothers-in-law, Ted and Gerry. The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the staff at the Victoria Hospital and the Shellbrook Hospital for the care and compassion shown to John. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at the Notre Dame des Victoires Church, in Victoire, SK.
