July 30, 1981 – February 23, 2019
It is with broken hearts and devastation the family of Jennifer Carla Flannigan, announce her sudden and untimely passing. Jennifer leaves to mourn her daughter Cienna; her spouse Eric Voloshin; parents Don and Elaine; brother Ryan (Stacy) and niece Isla Mae; sister Sheila (Jeff) Campbell, grandmother Mary Burtney; Eric’s parents Donald Voloshin and Marja Voloshin, sister-in-law Liisa Voloshin; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. Jen was predeceased by her brother Dennis (May 1985); grandfather William Burtney, grandfather Melvin Flannigan and grandmother Phyllis Flannigan and uncles Barry and Garry Flannigan. Jen enjoyed spending time with Cienna playing video games, many sports and activities. She loved the outdoors hiking, fishing, camping, bonfires and just spending time outside on her farm with her numerous animals and exotic birds that they raised. Jennifer was born in Prince Albert on July 30, 1981 to Elaine and Don Flannigan and spent her younger years in rural PA. Her love of horses brought her to Red River Roping and Riding and the competitions in the Hunter classes was her passion. After graduation she moved west to Alberta where her passion for animals and the outdoors continued and grew. She lived in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories where she spent time with Eric travelling and developing a love for fly fishing. In 2007 Jen and Eric returned to Prince Albert then in January 2008 they were blessed with their beautiful daughter Cienna. Jen was excited to share her love of animals with her at a very young age. The new family spent most of their time outside quadding, exploring and fishing. Jen had the opportunity to make many friends in all areas of life and her outgoing nature attracted everyone around her for which she was grateful of the love and support they provided. She was famous with her friends and neighbors for her annual pig roasts. Jennifer was currently employed at SGI and leaves behind her SGI family also. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK. Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.
