With broken hearts, the family of Kendell Emery Isbister, late of Ahtahkakoop First Nation, sadly announce his sudden passing on January 28, 2018 at the young age of 19 years. The Wake Services for Kendell took place on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall, and the Funeral Service was held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. also from the Band Hall. Interment was in the St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery. Kendell is lovingly survived by his mother April Isbister; his father Darcy Paquette; his brother Ezekiel Isbister; his siblings, Camdyn and Cara; his grandparents Gerald & Cathy Isbister; his uncle Chris (Deanine Starblanket) Isbister; his cousins Ashley, Rebecca, Levi, Daylynn, Timothy, Trey, Lorne, Cameron, Seth, Keisha & Kiera; and his great nieces & nephews, Zia, Zavier, Arielle, Darius and Hope. Kendell was predeceased by his uncles Owen, Corey, Wendell, and Timothy Isbister; his great grandparents, Rachel and Thomas Isbister, John Morisette, Phillip Bear and Alexandria Bear. The Pallbearers were Grey Isbister, Samuel Williams, Elliot Hyman, Matthew Isbister, Blair McNeilly, Jeremy Charles, Dustin Anaskan, Miles Mosquito, Caleb Greyeyes, Ethan Hyman, Kyle Bird, and Daylon Ahenakew. Special music was shared by the Northern Blue Thunder, Sandy Lake Choir as well as a song by Kokum Gloria Isbister.
