Lillian Cromartie

Lillian Edith Cromartie (nee Goodman) was born on Tuesday, October 8, 1935 in Hell’s Gate, SK, to Bill and Phyllis Goodman. She passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 82 years.
She grew up at Forest Gate and went to school at Moose Lake. She married Dom Cromartie October, 17, 1956. They had two sons, Norman born April 22, 1960 and Dennis born August 30, 1962. She worked various jobs, including the PA Shopper. She volunteered at many places, but especially enjoyed her time at Pineview. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family and friends, always taking the time to remain in touch with those she loved. Everyone knew when she was baking buns, because they all suddenly showed up, and she was quick to share.
Lillian is lovingly remembered by her husband, Dom; her son, Norman (Julie) and their daughters, Robyn (Garett) Federko, and Ashley Cromartie; her son, Dennis (Brenda) and their daughters, Lauren Cromartie, Karen Cromartie, Kristen Cromartie; her great-grandchildren, Preston and Audrey Federko; her special family friends, Kelly & John Pollock; her sisters, Ivie Brook, Grace Erickson, Violet Nolan; her brothers, Ray (Sylvia) Goodman, Gordon (Jean) Goodman; her sisters-in-law, Carol (Don) MacKay, Kathy (John) Davidson, Debra (Mike) Hurd; her brothers-in-law, John (Marie) Cromartie, Wayne (Eva) Cromartie, Phillip Cromartie, Steve Cromartie, Brent Pendleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bill & Phyllis Goodman; her parents-in-law, John and Lily Cromartie; her brothers, Earl Goodman, Carl Goodman; her sister, Bertha Brewster; her brothers-in-law, Cyril Brook, Lyman Brewster, Ole Erickson, Gene Nolan, Lester, James, and Carl Cromartie; her sisters-in-law, Faye Pendleton, Vivian Cromartie, Janice Friesen.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, www.heartandstroke.ca. A Celebration of Lillian’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at River Park Funeral Home, Margaret Ferchuk officiating.
