It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorna Henry who went peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the age of 74 years.

Lorna was predeceased by her parents Gilbert & Margaret (Katie) McNab; first husband Mervin Missens Sr., brothers Leslie McNab, Joe McNab, Bev McNab and Clarence McNab (in infancy); sisters Verna McNab, Kathleen Wright, Audrey McNab, Alice Pratt, Marlene Anderson and Elaine Pratt; son Vincent Missens; and stepson Wilfred Henry.

Lorna is survived by her loving husband Fred Henry; sister Agnes Sinclair, children Richard (Dorothy), Mervin (Deidre), Bonnie (Colin), Lana (Michael), Ron (Mindy), daughter in law Diane Guger; grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly, her beloved canine companion Ewok; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575  28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. The Wake Service will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 commencing at 4:00 p.m. at George Gordon Education Centre, George Gordon First Nation. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the George Gordon Education Centre, George Gordon First Nation.  Interment will be at St. Luke’s Cemetery, George Gordon First Nation.  Officiants will be Pastor Rick Martin and Reverend Dale Gillman.

The family would like to thank the palliative care nurses on Level 5 at the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital for their compassionate care, the Chief and Council of the Pasqua First Nation and the Chief and Council of the George Gordon First Nation.
