It is with sadness that the family of Lucille Hackl announce that she passed peacefully at Pineview Terrace in Prince Albert on February 27, 2019 at the age of 82 years.

In 1966, Lucille and Walter opened Hackl’s Engine Works in Prince Albert. This family business was well known and respected in the community and served it faithfully for over five decades.
Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a wonderful cook, supplying her family with delicious meals and great baking. She enjoyed travelling with her family to many destinations, her favorites being trips to Hawaii, and camping and fishing at the northern lakes in Saskatchewan. Lucille also loved reading, and doing needlepoint. Her family fondly remembers her wonderful sense of humor, and her enjoyment at spending time with them. She was quick to make friends, and had the knack of making others feel at ease in her presence. Lucille’s capacity for love extended to her pet dogs who brought her much joy over her lifetime. She stated recently, even in her declining health, that she had had a wonderful and full life, and that she felt very blessed. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff and caregivers at Pineview Terrace who took wonderful care of Lucille as well the staff of Victoria Hospital level 5.
