Mabel Lucy McKenzie (nee McLeod) was born on Wednesday, May 6, 1953, in Stanley Mission, SK, and passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in Stanley Mission, SK, at the age of 64 years. Mabel is survived by, her husband of 45 years, Solomon “Raymond” McKenzie; her children, Alice McKenzie, Annie (Jonas) McKenzie, Simon (Sharice) McKenzie, Irvine (Janell) McKenzie; her grandchildren, Christopher, Lois, Wanda, Sandy, Raymond, Brett, Carlos, Shelly, Alyssa, and Destiny; her great grandchildren, Julia, Bentley and Nevaeh; her special granddaughters, Eliza Girl, Alice Lydia, and Creeanne McKenzie; her sisters, Elizabeth Roberts, Kathy McKenzie, Mary (Joe) Roberts, Marlene McLeod; her brothers, Irvine (Melinda) McLeod, Raymond (Inez) McLeod; her sisters-in-law, Lydia McKenzie, Nancy E Ratt, Betsy (David) Charles, Emily (Thomas) Ballantyne, Charlotte Mcleod, Phyllis McLeod; her brothers-in-law, Percy McKenzie, Albert (Barbara) McKenzie, Ovide Charles (foster brother-in-law); her best friend, Bella M McKenzie (Grandmother’s Bay); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by, her son, Raymond McKenzie; her parents, James and Amelia (nee McKenzie) McLeod; her sisters, Mary McLeod, Maggie McLeod, Betsy R. McKenzie, Alora McLeod; her brothers, Ernest McLeod, Adam “Stewart” McLeod; her grandchildren, Phillip, Blade, Sherry; her brothers-in-law, John McKenzie, Joe McKenzie, John A Roberts, Simon McKenzie; her sister-in-law, Eliza Charles; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Annie (nee Ross) and Sandy McKenzie; her special friends, Doreen Clarke, Hilda McKenzie. Mabel’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, SK, Rev. Richard Custer presiding. Interment to follow at the Stanley Mission Cemetery.
