Maria Featherling June 30th 1965 – June 1st 2019

Maria passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 1st 2019 in her hometown of Prince Albert at the age of 53.

Maria is survived by:

Her brother Gary; his wife Judy; his children, Andrew, Marilyn, Bradley, and their children.
Her brother Ronald; his wife Dianne; his children, Ronnette, Dean, Ron, Amy, Shannon, and their children.

Her brother Horst; his wife Tina; his children, Tammy, Lisa, Jayden and their children.

Her brother Aaron; his wife Linda; his children, Mark, Neil, Shelby, Lee and their children.

The children of her late sister Alberta, Jennifer, Darrel, and their children.

Her sister Barbara Pocha/Thorpe; her husband Earl; her children, Jody, Brent, Curt, and their children.

Her twin sister Jo Ann Featherling; her children, Nancy, Daniella, Frank, Steven, and their children.

Also numerous extended family that she was close to and she made an effort to always keep in touch.

She is preceded in death by:

Her parents Albert and Klara Featherling.

Her sister Alberta Mackie and her husband Ken.

Her brother in law Lionel Pocha

Maria had no children but thought of each and every one of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.

Maria was born on June 30th 1965 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. She was a twin and the youngest of eight.

Maria was an accomplished hairdresser and enjoyed her career.

She was an outgoing individual who loved to visit which made her years working at Venice House so enjoyable.

She was passionate about animals, especially her Mieka and Bear, they meant the world to her. Her passion and love of animals exceeded no other.

A short service is scheduled for everyone who knew her in her hometown of Prince Albert,

June 18th at 7pm at The Salvation Army Church 163 12th Street East, Prince Albert.

She will be taking one last trip to visit her family where a Funeral is taking place June 22nd at 2pm at Christ Church Anglican 46-13th Ave. S Cranbrook, B.C.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Maria’s life.
