Marie passed away peacefully on November 1, 2019 at Nelson Care Home where she had been residing. She was born July 5, 1925 in Tisdale, SK.  On April 24, 1944 she married the love of her life Thomas Meeks.  Together they farmed in Arborfield and in 1971 they moved to Prince Albert to further Tom’s carpentry skills.  Marie is survived her son Wayne (Helen) and their children Deidre and Devin (Shay); her son Allan and his children Jennifer (Ken) McEachern, Jessica (Joe) Johnson, Joe (Misty) Meeks, Joshua Meeks and Jeff Meeks; her daughter Donna (John) Korpess and their children Alison Korpess and Dean Korpess (Rachel Clewlow);totaling 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
