Marilyn Irene (Cowan) Langstaff (1948-2017)
Surrounded by her loving family Marilyn passed away at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Sunday December 17, 2017.
Marilyn is survived by: her best friend of 22 years Bert Grylls; her two children eldest daughter Audrey Langstaff and son David Langstaff; three granddaughters, Whitney (Chris) Fehr; Kristi (Tyson) Ross; Ashley (Megan) Thiessen; and two great-grandsons; Oakley and Oliver Ross, All of whom were the loves of her life. She is also survived by her siblings: Waynne (Darlene) Cowan, Jim (Annette) Cowan, Caron (Paul) Hallen, Cam (Val) Cowan, Norm (Laura) Cowan, Marshall (Shirley) Cowan, Rhonda (Lawrence Masney), numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Dave Langstaff (1995) and her parents Verne (2003) and Renee (Ireland) (1951) Cowan and stepmother Ann (Jackson) Cowan (2000).
Due to Marilyn’s wishes there will be no formal funeral. We will have a celebration of life at a later date.
Marilyn was one that welcomed company and made sure that no one left her house hungry. She had a great sense of humour, enjoying many jokes and fun with all she knew and especially those at the coffee shop and bingo hall.
Thank you to all the Royal University Hospital ICU staff for their caring and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in memory of Marilyn Langstaff be made to the Cardiac Care Unit at the Royal University Hospital, 103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon, Sk S7N 0W8
