Betty (Mary Elizabeth) (Munro) Dalziel
After a wonderful life on November 19, 2018, Betty Dalziel passed away peacefully at Jubilee Lodge in Kinistino. She was born in Wilcox, SK to George and Laura Munro. Betty lived life to the fullest. She met David Dalziel in Wilcox were married on June 30, 1945, after Dave’s return from service in the RCAF and then moved to Prince Albert.
Betty had a wide range of interests, she participated in many sports. She was a founding member and extremely active in the Prince Albert Quilt Guild. She was a long time member of Eastern Star and Wesley United Church.
Her fondest times were at Emma Lake with family and friends and hosting at many annual parties and events.
Betty was predeceased by Dave her husband of 61 years and her son Donald in 2014. She is survived by son Robert (Barbara) of PA, daughter-in-law Donna of PA, son John(Vicki)of Salt Spring Island, daughters Joan (Dale Huculak) of Red Deer and Janet (Terry Corrigal) of PA, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
At Betty’s request, there will be a private family interment “on a warm sunny day”. In lieu of other tributes, the family would appreciate donations to Jubilee Lodge in Kinistino, Box 370, Kinistino, SK. S0J 1H0.
