It is with great sadness that the family of Nick Camche announce his passing on November 10, 2019 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 89 years.
Nick will be lovingly remembered by his wife Madeleine Camche; brother William (Grace) Camche; brother-in-law David MacNaughton as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Nick was predeceased by his brother Peter Camche; sisters Katherine Apps (Henry) and Evangeline MacNaughton.
Nick was born on January 7, 1930 in Prince Albert, SK to George and Euthimia Camche. He grew up in Prince Albert, SK where he started his first job at the Burns Meat Plant. His occupations then extended into the sporting goods industry and later in equipment sales. Nick was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, scuba diving and snowmobiling.
Nick loved to travel and socialize. Nick was a member of the BPO Elks for over 60 years as well as Ducks Unlimited and the Prince Albert Wildlife Federation.
Memorial donations in lieu of other tributes may be made to St. David’s Anglican Church, 500 24th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 1S2.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. David’s Anglican Church, 500 24th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Rick Reed officiating. Interment will be held in the Spring of 2020. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
