In Loving Memory of Paul Joseph Novak
Paul Joseph Novak was born on June 28,1928 in Yellow Creek, Saskatchewan, on the family farm. Paul was the only son of John and Mary Novak, he was born right in the middle of his eight sisters.
He took all his schooling in Yellow Creek, Sask., before moving to Edmonton, Alberta in 1955.
In Edmonton he met Shirley Orsten, and they were married October 28, 1967.
In 1974 he returned to Yellow Creek, Saskatchewan to take over the family farm. He remained on the farm until his passing on March 1st, 2019, after a short stay in Royal University Hospital
Paul leaves to mourn him, his sisters, Nellie Chubak, of Prince Albert, SK, Olive Young, of Medicine Hat, AB, and Marcy Jack, of Melfort, SK, his brother-in-law, Toby (Esther) Orsten, of Kelowna, BC, and his sister-in-law Norma (Elgin) Grant, of Ponoka, AB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews, extended family and many, many friends.
Paul was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley Novak, by his parents John and Mary Novak. He was predeceased by his sisters Pauline Novak, Mary Lypchuk, Sylvia Hepp, Victoria Severinson, Toni Roberts and Adele Palmer. He was also predeceased by his sisters-in-law, Helen Borchers, Selma Hammergren and Betty Orsten, brothers-in-law Fred Lypchuk, Mac Chubak, Ed Young, Tony Hepp, Alex Jack, Larry Severinson and Roy Hammergren.
