Peter Emile McLachlan
February 10, 1960 – October 4, 2018
With much sadness and even more pride, we must share the news that Peter Emile McLachlan succumbed in his heroic battle with leukemia on October 4, 2018 at the age of 58.
Peter was born in Edmonton on February 10, 1960. At the age of 5 Peter was adopted, along with his brother Stephen, by Cal and Roberta “Birdie” McLachlan. Along with being chosen to be part of the McLachlan family, he was also fortunate enough to maintain a relationship with his biological father Chuck Gobeil throughout his life. His pursuit of life had Peter living numerous places, all the way from the near Artic to South America. It was there, in Guyana, that he met Jem, the love of his life. They were married June 3, 1998, and raised three sons Cliff, Daniel and Calvin. In 2005, Peter came back home and with his family settled in Prince Albert where they remain.
