Randolph Lopinski

Randolph ‘Randy’ Henry Matthew Lopinski was born on October 26, 1952 in Humboldt, SK and passed away on May 20, 2019 in Calgary, AB at the age of 66. Randy is survived by the mother of his children, Mariann; his son, Jason (Paige); his daughter, Amanda (Danny); his siblings: Jerry (Diane), Iona (Quinton), Gail, Murray, Myra (Wayne), Howard (Judy), and Michelle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Theresa (nee Krieger); his brother, Rommie and his brother-in-law, Gerry. Randy worked for Sasktel for 26 years where he made many friendships. Randy will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit and his fondness for fishing, finding creative uses for second-hand items, playing cards, skiing, trying new sports (like mountain biking and snowboarding), photography, and cars. Randy was always willing to give the shirt off his back to a friend in need. He loved visiting with friends and family, and will be deeply missed. A Funeral Service was held at the St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church at Leofeld, SK on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Colin Roy officiating. Interment of the urn followed in the St. Boniface Cemetery. Donations in memory of Randy may be directed to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
