It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of
Robert Pierre Gaudet
from Gatineau, QC, on March 13, 2019, at the age of 57.
Predeceased by his father Edmour Gaudet, his mother Thérèse Gaudet, his brother Paul and sister Sylvia he is survived by his loving family; his wife of 20 years, Angela Mills; his daughter Elisa, his sisters Élaine (Wayne); Louise; his brothers Ray (Kelly); Marc; his nephews and nieces Mikaël (Nadine, Rafaël, Chloé), Alexi, Adrien (Ashton), Danielle (Nigel), Misha, Megan and William; his mother-in-law Betty; sister-in-law Jennifer (Murray), other family and many dear friends.
WORK HARD PLAY HARD describes Robert well.
Born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on July 11, 1961 Robert graduated from Laval University QC in 1985 with a degree in Agricultural Economics, Bachelor of Applied Sciences and previously attended Collège Mathieu in Gravelbourg, SK. He was a successful entrepreneur in the local community for 20 years, having created Capital Karting and Entreposage Aylmer Inc. in partnership with his brother Marc. He was a courageous, adventuresome, accomplished man, with incredible energy, skill, knowledge, devotion, caring, sensitivity, joy for life and family. A passionate conversationalist with a love of world affairs. He loved playing jazz piano and the outdoors for boating, fishing, cycling, and skating. Making bread and his own maple syrup were amongst his many other interests. He was beginning to obtain his personal pilot license. He is sorely missed.
A celebration of life will be held in the months to come.
