Sarah Bear was born on Saturday, January 1, 1916, in Reindeer Lake, SK, and passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 103 years. Sarah is survived by her loving family, her children, Bernadette Poulin; her adopted daughter, Miranda Bear; her nieces, Veronique Clarke, Marie Adele Brown, Eva Clarke, Sylvia Bird, Darlene Sinclair, Doreen Roy, Evelynn Cook, Theresa Cook; her nephews, George Cook, Gilbert Morin, Albert Morin, Alphonse Morin; her grandchildren, Renee Poulin, Charles Poulin, Daniel Poulin, Mark Poulin, Ryan Poulin, Chasity Poulin, Dorothy Badger, Lisa Badger, Priscilla Bear, Jonathon Bear, Boyd Bear, Mona Bear, Vincent Bear, Lloyd Cook, Daisha Cook, Carson Cook, Carlin Cook; her 40 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Julian Bear; her parents, Henry and Catherine (nee Ballantyne) McCallum; her father and mother-in-law, Cornelius and Harriette Bear; her children, Jacob Bear, Phillip Bear, Flora Bear, Lloyd Bear, Gordon Bear, Martin Bear, Vincent Bear Sr.; her siblings, Veronique Morin, Richard McCallum, Margaret Cook, Roderick McCallum. Sarah’s funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Reindeer Lake School Gym in Southend, SK, Pastor Moses Bird officiating. Interment to follow at Southend Cemetery.
